“PROPHET OF THE YOUNG GENERATION”

I don't want to sound like a preacher !! nor the purpose of writing this article is that!!this

article is about people we love !! people we aspire to become!! People who make things

happen!!people who are our idols!! people who we see on tv!! Yes yes you are right i am

talking about celebrities !! the glamour world!! The “oomph” factor!! Many of us want to

have six packs abs like sharukh does(i am an exception mine is a family pack)!! Many of give

our eyeballs and

ears to news on national wedding of abhishek and aishwariya!! Many of us also know the

reason of spat between sharukh and salman!! And also why mr bacchan didnt invited his

friend in his sons wedding!! Media is flooded with news on these things but no offence

after all they are our idols!! we have enormous time for them!! At Least TRPS of these

channels show that!! We love to know about

them!! We love hearing stories about them!! I also have stories !! not a big deal just small

3 stories (unfortunately true stories)

Manjunath- Another forgotten hero another unsung story!!

Manjunath was a bright student from IIM lucknow!! But he was different from other management

Guys his aspiration was not high packages and a lavish life style but a passion to be worthwhile!!

He was employee of Indian oil corporation(IOC)!! While working for IOC he sealed two petrol pumps

In lakhimpur kheri for selling adulterate petrol!! But when he visited that site again he found that

Petrol pump was still open he decided to raid the petrol pump!! But unfortunately never came

back!!

Pawan kumar mittal owner of petrol pump shot 6 bullets in his head!! Another gruesome cold

blooded murder!!

Trial took place culprits were punished but a precious life was lost!!

Chandrashekhar Prasad- Born in poor family in bihar!! He completed his schooling in

bihar and later joined NATIOANAL DEFENCE ACADEMY !! but later left that to become an activist!!

He joined jawahar lal university!! After joining JNU prasad played a very important role in building

AISA(All India student association) he was elected president of JNU three times in a row!! In 1995 he

represented india in student conference in korea his speech was so inciting that korean goverment

feared commotion in seoul!! And with a hour he was sent back to india!! After completing education

prasad wanted to join main stream politics !! he contested against muscle powered politician

shabudin in siwan!! And on a fatefull day 31 march he was shot dead when he was addressing corner

meeting in siwan!! He was a promising politician!!

Satyendra dubey- An IITian from kanpur!! Was the first person of his village siwan to enter IIT!!

He graduated in 1994 with excellent academic record !! later he joined IT-BHU for M-tech and then

Cleared prestigious Indian Engineering services!! Indias top engineering bureaucracy!! He was

appointed as assistant project manager at koderma, Jharkhand!! Responsible for NH 1(grand trunk

road) someone once tried to bribe him and he called police!! During the period dubey found

Financial irregularities in the project!! And made contractor to fire his three engineers !! he made

The contractor to rebuild under quality road which was a huge loss for road Contract mafia!!

That made contractor lobby unhappy they made him transferred to Gaya!!there also

He exposed corruption and was promoted to deputy general manager!! Now he was willing to come

Back to koderma!! But criminal nexus didn’t wanted that to happen!!

Dubey wrote directly to the then prime minister Atal bihari Vajpayee about the financial

Irregularities but letter was leaked and he received reprimand from his seniors!!

On 27 November dubey was returning from a wedding in Varanasi!! And took a auto

To come back!! But that night he didn’t reached his home later his body was found laying near the

Road!! He had been shot dead !!

Rabbi shergil dedicated a song to satyenra dubey-

“मेरा नाम श्रीमान सत्येन्द्र दुबे

जो कहना था वो कह चुके

अब पड़े हैं राह मैं

दिल में लिए एक गोली

जिन्हें नाज़ है हिंद पर वो कहा है

जिन्हें नाज़ है वो कहा थे !”

3 stories are over!! And ha we were talking about people we love!! People we aspire to become!!

People who are always there on tv!! People who are celebrities!!

But if they are our idols then who these people were?

Oedipus, Nationalist and Kabir

Oedipus refers to a 5th-century BC Greek mythological character King Oedipus, who unwittingly kills his father, Laius, and marries his mother though he was unaware that he is his actual father and the lady he will be marrying is his own biological mother he was adopted by a another couple and later when he falls in love with a lady who is his actual mother  he fights her husband and eventually kills him by throwing him down from the chariot .

This is a tragedy in a true sense where none of the characters don’t know the relation between each other and fight to kill each other for only one feeling of love , love which sheds own blood

If love is that important and is the only thing that matters then why to kill for it isn’t it strange both have same feeling of love but choose to kill the other act alike

but  yes the believe that one’s love is dearer then other loves leads to war and result is death of other who also loved the same thing  ,what a great tragedy !
isn’t  this tragedy is similar to what India is facing today people  killing each other to claim motherland without realizing  other people also love the same mother land but not in the way which betimes believes is right

Can there be a definition of love? Can there be a purity test done on love? Can it be relative?

Can we question the absoluteness of love ?  I am afraid answer to most of the question is “NO”

Let’s not be part of this tragedy and understand we all are fighting for same feeling of love for motherland it’s time to realise there is no definition there can’t be any

as Kabir rightly said

“हिन्दू कहें मोहि राम पियारा, तुर्क कहें रहमाना,
आपस में दोउ लड़ी-लड़ी  मुए, मरम न कोउ जाना।“

Which means

“Hindu says  ram is lovely , turk says Rahman is lovely

They died fighting each other ,without knowing what love is ?”
